Cutwater Marine is a South African company based in Cape Town. We are currently the sole manufacturer of wooden powerboats in the country. It is our goal to become one of the eminent manufacturers of classic and contemporary mahogany runabouts. Our experienced craftsmen combined with modern construction techniques assure that all our craft will display strength and performance as well as exquisite beauty.
In addition to building "Classic Reproductions" We are in a unique position to offer the Dauntless 750, a locally designed 25ft contemporary mahogany runabout. This unique boat which is set to become a true "Modern Classic" that is on a par with anything you will find anywhere in the world.
We are in essence a custom wooden boatyard who work together with our customers to identify your preferences, intended use of your boat and work together thought the building process to ensure your dream is turned into reality.
